Valerie is a writer and secondary teacher. She lives in Brisbane, Australia with her husband and daughter, after moving from Sydney. Valerie completed a Master of Letters in Creative Writing and is writing her first novel. Her anthology of short stories and a magical realism historical novella will be published in 2022.
